Who picks the parent-child song?

Who picks the parent-child song?

Does anyone know who picks the mother-son dance song? Is it the mother or the son? TIA.

Depends...the mother can make a suggestion but FH doesnt have to listen to it

i would think the son should pick it and then run it by his mother to make sure that she likes it

I am going to have FSIL pick the song for FH and his mom to dance to, i'm handling all the other music

FH doesn't know what he wants. I'm thinking we should put together a CD with ideas and then ask for her input as well. My younger brothers wife chose the mother son dance......my mother totally happy with the choice (she had ideas of what she wanted) and my brother had no idea what it was until it started playing (or so he says).

I think it's always nice to get input. Should be meaningful for both.

I'll probably pick it...but if FH or FMIL have a song they really want...they can have it. I'm just assuming neither will care

That's what I'm going to do. I'm going to make a CD with song suggestions to see if he would like to use any... or suggest something he has in mind. I have no idea what this man would want to dance to....

i always thought it should be hte fh that picks for his mom.

my fh is a huge music person so i know he will want to pick it.

I am picking the song i dance with my dad, and I am have my FMIL pick their song out

FH will have a mother/son dance... but I might not be having a father/daughter dance... but I'll let them pick it.

i would think to let the mother pick the song and then just get fh's approval. its a special moment i think more for the mom.

my dad is choosing the song that he and i dance to
