My mom was wondering who plans the bridal shower. All the weddings she had been in they payed for the bridal shower.(the reason to have a bp)...but she heard otherwise from one of her friends. Does anyone know?
i think it depends. in my case i am having alot of bm's but my mom is gonna pay for the shower. she has been waiting for this forever and since im her only daughter, she wants to do everything lol.
it really depends on the people, 1 bridal party I was in we all chipped in, another one the mom paid for it.
I personally think it's hard now a days to put it entirely on the bridal party. The price is really expensive. Luckily enough for me my mom is paying for the place and FMIL is taking care of all the other stuff. I felt bad for my mom to ask the BP
it depends. Its either the MOB, the BP and MOH or a combo of both.
I mostly hear about the mom of the bride paying for the shower and the bridal party doing the extras like the centerpieces, games, favors, etc.
I think in more recent years, since a shower has blown up from a party at home, mom's have been chipping in more to showers.
