like candles, etc, do you give them to the people at the RH?

yes your maitre'd and his staff will do all that. You actually bring EVERYTHING to the RH the week of your wedding and drop it off. They even give you a diagram of your tables and you will tell them any specific things about what you want and how you want it set up.
I had to put them all in boxes and put our name and wedding date on the boxes. I brought them table numbers with frames, table runners, favors,placecards, blown up picture, my doc brought the menu's
candles though our florist provided and they just brought it to the rh and set up the flowers the day of wedding

I wrote out a very detailed list of exactly how many I wanted on each table ie 1 menu pp, (i did) 1 favor pp, number of bells at each table, etc. That is what the hall gets paid to set up.

I was told they do it at the RH..I hope so because I am doing my own cps and stuff

just make sure you have somebody to bring the flowers the day of though. You might not want to leave the flowers there from the day before or more bc they have a storage space where they just put all the boxes. Everything else is fine though and yes their job. Definitely talk to your RH first about the cp's
Ok this makes me feel much better thanks! I was trying to figure out if I had to have someone do all of that, this puts my mind at ease....

YEah the RH staff does it. I asked my banquet manager if i could come in the night before to help. She told me i could if i wanted to. I know i'm gonna be busy doing a million other things. But i've come to expereince in life that when you want something done you have to do it yourself. So i'd like to be there to make sure it all looks the way i want it to and not be hit with an aweful surprise.

hmmm i wouldn't go the night before bc they don't set it up from the night before. Honestly they start setting up your room only about 2 hours before your reception starts, they are finishing up the tables and everything while your guests are even in the CH room. The night before for example i still had stuff to drop off at my RH, i had to drop off placecards and some stuff. I was there at 10:30pm the night before but not like anything was set up, first of all there was a wedding going on the night before anyways and even if there wasn't wouldn't be set up. You do sit with them and tell them exactly what you want, you write it down for them to have and they have a sheet with a picture of each table and on it you write the amount of guests at each table plus amount of favors, thats if you put favors on the table. ANd any additional notes you have.
You do see your room before anybody goes in it so you can see beforehand if its all fine.

my RH set up everything for me. I think the florist set up the floral arrangements for me.
