Who's having a brunch?
Is everyone having a brunch the day after their wedding? I was thinking of just maybe doing something very small the next day.

I would love to have a brunch, but again it is just one more thing to pay for. So who knows!

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We had a brunch the day after before the limo came to bring us to the airport. We did this because we live out of state, and there were guests there from out of state. We only get to seem them a couple times a year. It gave us more time with everyone.

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We are having a brunch the morning after. However...we are not really paying for it. The night of the wedding we are staying at the same hotel as our out of town guests (some of my family is staying there too) and they have a A free deluxe continental Breakfast Bar, including French Toast, waffles, fresh bagels, Danish pastries, muffins, fresh fruit, juices, cereals, coffee, milk and tea..so I am just going to make that the brunch. Re: Who's having a brunch?
About 70% of our guests are coming from out of town, and we wanted to be able to spend time with them, so we are inviting all of the out of town guests to teh rehersal dinner. We'll probably have a small brunh the next day, but only close family & maybe wedding party.

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We are planning one...in the hotel for the guests who stay overnight. It is $$$ but we figured we shelled out so much already what's more $$! We figured it would be a good way to talk to people befrore we take off for out honeymoon. We can get filled in on everything we missed....

Re: Who's having a brunch?
I don't think we are doing a brunch the day after, maybe we will do a bbq when we get back from honeymoon for the bridal party and family.. We are going out after the wedding and probably will be very exhausted on saturday..

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We had a BBQ at my mom's the day after. We had a lot of people visiting who we rarely see, so we figured it would be nice to have more time with them, and it was.

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We had immediate families and BP meet us at the hotel the following morning, and had a breakfast together. It was low-key and simple, and a nice way to recap the weekend!

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We're having a picnic type lunch the day after. (Sandwiches, pasta salads, etc.) We have so many out of town guests coming that we rarely get to see that we wanted to spend a little more time with them, esp in a more relaxed setting.

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We are planning on having a brunch the next day at the hotel that all of the out of towners will be staying at. Now I just have to figure out where that will be! Any suggestions?

Re: Who's having a brunch?
We are having a bruch the day after the wedding. IT is going to be at FI's parents house. It's going to be very casual and come when you want type of thing (we put a time on the invitation because we had to but we spread the word that it's very informal). His parents did the same thing for my FI's brother's wedding and it was really nice. It was a great way to spend more time with friends and family that came in from out-of-town. On the other hand, I am really lucky that my FMIL volunteered her house she even re-did two rooms in anticipation. But it is still going to be a lot of $$$ because approx 100 (I know it's a crazy #) people RSVP'd and now my future in laws are considering putting up a tent in the backyard plus the cost of the catering that is coming from Bagel Boss and Ben's deli. If you can swing it, I'd do it. Good LuckWelcome New Vendors
