my fh did too - althoung in a fight - so i wasn't sure he meant it.....but he said he did b/c he realized that he couldn't argue with me b/c he loved me too much!

The first time he said it was when he was reallly drunk and I told him tell me when your sober, we had only been dating like 3 weeks so I wasn't going to bring it up. But like 2 weeks later I said to him I want to tell you something but I don't want to freak you out ( we were friends first and went through a lot of I don't want to ruin our friendship stuff ) He said I won't freak out and I said so you won't freak out if I tell you I love you and he says would you so I say no so he say well I love you!!! So technically he said it first

Like Stacey my husband said it when he was VERY drunk!!! It was on our first date!

he did! he told me on a cruise around manhatten--he planned it so that we were on the outer part of the boat and right in front of the statue of liberty!!--he is too cute!! i plan on giving him a mini-statue of liberty on our wedding day!
