I did and I didn't mean to. It just sort of popped out. He made me wait about 2 months after that before he said it!!

He did, but I kind of tricked him into it. We had gotten into a minor argument in the beginning of our relationship. I wrote him a card saying 'love ya' at the end. I think he felt obligated in a way but I hope when he said it a couple of days later he meant it!
I waited of course for him to...and he was scared...
it took about 10 months!!!!! we were at levitz...he and his roommate needed a couch, but neither had a credit card, so I told them they could use mine...so the salesperson said 'looks like you got a good one' after seeing that I was buying it...and DH said'Yeah, for the time being'
I could have ripped his head off!!! He swears it was just macho talk with the salesperson...but he knew if he didn't say it then, I would have been gone!!

We actually both went to say it the same time ... he cut me off and said it first! I remember that night so vividly!

He said it first as we were walking the boardwalk in LB one summer night. It was about 2 months into our dating. And I didn't hear him say it.
Because I didn't hear it, I never said anything to him. Then he acted all sulky the rest of the night until I asked him what was the matter, and he told me he said 'I love you' and I never said it back. I did then!!

I said I loved him when we were friends (like you love a friend) but I think it was a mutual 'I love you' when we really felt it
