Curious how hard is it to start...I read some of their pages on it..seems okay, but did I read it roght that each item has a fee?
It also seemed to say each picture of the item would also be charged?

what's the deal, and can anyone explain it in english?
I just want to sell some crap not read a twenty page manual! LOL

I've been selling stuff on Ebay for years. I sold a car a year or two back as well. I've been lucky...no bad deals yet.

If I remember correctly, you need to supply them with a credit card (your fees are deucted monthly for when you sell items). Its real quick to setup.

...and the best thing?

There's a buyer for everything. I sold some old car brochures and window stickers I had lying around a few years back for $20 each.... Somebody's junk is someone else's treasure.

Why throw it out when there's the internet?

I sell a little and it's pretty easy. YOu set up a sellers account and enter all the required info. Everything is secure so don't worry about entering credit card info.

The fees are a little confusing but most of them are spelled out when you are creating a listing.

There is a listing fee which is a flat rate based on the starting price of your auction.

There is a final value fee that is a small percentage of the final/winning bid on your item.

You can add one picture to your listing for free and there's a way to host photos at an online website to have additional photos but maybe someone else can help you with that.

There are listing enhancements that you can use such as having a gallery photo (so it shows on the page before you open the listing), designer pages, listing in multiple categories, etc. These fees are itemized in the listing if you get it mixed up (I do all the time..LOL)

I have been getting better about this - I don't know how many times I threw something away and then realized I could have sold it..LOL
