Who Sets Up Reception Decorations?

I'm just wondering because I want to buy a couple of decorations that need to be strung up and just different things also that need to be put on the reception tables. Do I do that or does the venue provide someone to help with setting all that up? Thanks!

The maitre d takes care of all of it. when you drop everything off, make sure you give detailed instructions. if you're not sure if they're going to do something, you can just give your BM a call to see if it'll be a prob. But, the east wind is amazing, they'll most likely do whatever.

I hope at my venue it's the same way with the maître d, but I also have a day of coordinator so I guess she will be there making sure all the decorations are where they should be and to ensure everything looks the way I have envisioned it.
