Who sets up your reception room if you have decorations?

Who sets up your reception room if you have decorations?

I want to set up my room with lots and lots of candles. Do I bring them in a box of candles that I bought and someone at the reception hall will set it up for me or do I have to have someone I know go the day of the wedding and set it up. Sooo many questions running through my mind!

This has always been on my mind, and I am also quite curious to find out the answer. I plan on asking some friends who aren't in my BP to set up the church, but the hall, I have no idea.

I think you just have to tell the people at the hall what you want done, and they will do it for you, just like they set up the linen and the table.

I think you tell the banquet manager that you want the reception room to be set up with decorations that you have in mind. Our florist set up our rooms with candles and centerpieces as that was the only decorations that we wanted. Our favors, foam board, table camera, menus, guest book, and seating cards our reception wait staff took care of it.

It's a combination of your BM and florist (if your decorations are coming/ordered through the florist) he/she would set it up. If it's candles, etc. it would be the hall. I had to label all my boxes and they wrote the specifics of each item I had in there.
