Who sets up your unity candle and church items ?

Who sets up your unity candle and church items ?

I don't have a DOC so who is responsible for that?

I am thinking of all of the little details and I am going crazy.


I wish I can get some things over with now, but I think they are too early.

maybe you can ask ur florist or whoever is decorating the church? also what about asking the person at the church who's in charge of the music to do it the night u have ur rehersal?

your fh is there waiting for you to show up - I say put him in charge of it.

thats a good idea. or even ask a wedding guest if they can come a little early and take care of that for you.

im sure one of your guests would love to take part in the festivities by helping you out then they feel like they were a big part of your prepping

i gave the candles to the priest the night of the rehearsal and he set it up for me
petal cones i had my mom bring and put in the back when they got there

if you're not having a doc, you can ask the groom, best man, or a special guest

i gave the candles to the priest the night of the rehearsal and he set it up for me
petal cones i had my mom bring and put in the back when they got there


Our church told us to leave the unity candle with them before the wedding, so I figured they're responsible for it.

yes - we gave it to the church the day before (rehearsal day) and they had it set up for us.

My DOC did it. Couldn't you ask the church lady who organizes the bridal party to do it??? If not I would ask a friend.

we asked our friend alexis to be in charge of the unity candle- I will have her come to the rehearsal and take it back with her and I completely trust her to bring it back and to make sure it's on the altar in time.

Ha! I don't trust him. Yes, it is about time he did do somrthing. I am lucky he knows what date it is. I really mean that!

Ha! I don't trust him. Yes, it is abotu time he did do soemthing. I am lucky he knows what date it is. I really mean that!

My church has a coordinator person who sets up that sort of stuff and runsteh rehearsal and all. See if your church has anything like that!
