Who to bring dress shopping?

So I am planning on going dress shopping for the first time soon and I am conflicted on who to bring. A part of me wants everyone there: my mom, MOH. FMIL, FSIL, bridesmaids... but I know that this is a terrible idea! LOL So do you think I should just bring my mom and sister (MOH) for the first time or would it be okay to bring my mom, sister, FSIL, and FMIL. Everyone gets along and no one is too opinionated, except for my sister but in the best way possible. What should I do??

Who to bring dress shopping?

I feel the same way.. I want to bring EVERYONE, but I don't necessarily want everyone's opinions lol. As of right now, I'm gonna go with just my mom and MOH then take everyone else to see it maybe after I've already chosen so they'll have no choice but to say nice things. My sister is the worst one, so she may not see it at all until the day of because I just don't want to hear it lol.

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went with my mom and 2 sisters to the first two appointments. When I was ready to choose I brought my FMIL also. I am an indecisive person and swayed easily so I'm glad I didn't have too many opinions. I also didn't want the pressure of having to say yes because BMs, fam, other people were there.

Who to bring dress shopping?

The first time I went I invited everyone. So I had 4 bridesmaids with me my mom and my FMIL. It really wasn't bad. After that though I went shopping at least 10 different times and it was easier to just coordinate it with just my mom and then I left it open to anyone else who was free and wanted to come so a few of my bridesmaids came and my fmil came almost every time.

It just depends on the types of people I think. If you think you will make up your mind based on what you want no matter what anyone else says or that people arent going to say anything that's going to make it unenjoyable then theres no harm in inviting everyone.

Who to bring dress shopping?

Keep it small! I brought my FMIL and my sister and it was more than enough. Some of the places only have so much room for guests lol.

Who to bring dress shopping?

Yes I would advise to keep it small. The less opinions the better, I went with me and my Dad and was very happy with my experience.

Who to bring dress shopping?

I only brought my mom and my sister. But I want everyone to feel included so I had my bridesmaids send me some styles they thought I might look good in and i tried on those styles for them and sent them pics throughout the day.

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went with My Mom, My aunt, and four of my bridesmaids...then I ended up going again with just my mom and MOH and I chose the dress that time! It was a lot better without too many opinions, but I also wanted the experience of everyone being there with me!

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went with just my mom and it was fantastic!! I think the less people you have, the less nasty opinions you are going to get. You need a dress that you love and who cares what other people say.

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went with my two sisters and MOH. I am happy I kept my group small and each person added something. My MOH and I have the exact same taste, my older sister is very honest, and my younger sister pushes me out of my comfort zone. It was a great experience....except for the mother of the bride who was ALSO trying on dresses the same time as me. At one point she told me 'that doesnt look flattering honey' I thought my sisters and MOH were going to deck her LOL

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went two times with just my mom and one time with one of my BM. The less people the better in my opinion but once I actually decide on the dress I might bring back my FMIL and FSIL and MOH so they can see it.

Who to bring dress shopping?

The first time I went with my mom, MOH, and one of my bridesmaids. The next few times I've gone I've just brought my mom and MOH (or if my MOH couldn't go I brought my cousin who's a bridesmaid). I will most definitely not be bringing my FMIL because she is so opinionated & will be telling me to try on dresses I want nothing to do with lol. I think the less people the better because there will be too many opinions.

Who to bring dress shopping?

The first time I went was with A LOT of people but that's just how it worked out. It was my mom, grandma, cousin(moh), 2 aunts, cousin(bridesmaid), and FMIL. I was nervous that it would be overwhelming but it was actually not too bad. I'll prob always go with a big group just because so many people want to be involved so that's okay as long as they aren't too opinionated lol

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went with my mom and two sisters and facetimed with my best friend/BM who was in the hospital. I was really careful to only involve a small number and to make sure they were positive people!!

Who to bring dress shopping?

I'm planning on bringing my mom, my MOH, and maybe once of my cousins/bridesmaid. I'm really indecisive and tend to be a people pleaser so I really just want to keep it to people who won't throw too many opinions at me lol. I'm not sure about bringing my FMIL to shop, I've been thinking of just bringing her after I find the dress for a fitting.. She's been very insistent I be in something poofy/sparkly/with a tiara and it's just not my style. I have a feeling she will be added to the list though lol.

Who to bring dress shopping?

I went to 3 different places before I found my dress. I kept it small Mom, sister(MOB) close friend(practically sister), and soon to be MIL. I think it worked out well most of the time we were all in agreement.
