Im a little stumped.. my mother and father are paying for the RH (whole thing) and so I wanted to put them on our invitation. Im not yet sure what his parents will be contributing.. So my question is do I put them on our invitation? Only reason I ask is because my FBIL is getting married on 11/3 and put his parents and hers.. because they helped with his. I dont want to offend anyone but I dont think I should have to.. what do U guys think??

Re: Who to put on the invitation???
I would put your parents names on the top as they are the ones paying for it and under his name, you can write son of so and so. That's what I wrote on my card because my parents are paying for the whole thing and it came out really nice.

Re: Who to put on the invitation???
My parents and FH and I are paying for everything. His parent's aren't helping (and there is nothing wrong with that, that's just the case)
We put:
Mr. and Mrs. xxx request the honour of your presence at the marriage of their daughter amanda Lynn to Christopher xxxxx son of Mr. and Mrs. xxxx
I just didn't want to offend anyone.

I would put both sets of parents on there---it doesn't always mean they are paying, I think it is more out of respect.

honestly, i wouldnt put their names on the invite, if they are not contributing anything toward the wedding. JMO
