My Fi and I were just talking and even though it is so far in advance, tips came up... Obviously, we would have to tip the DJ, Photographer and Videographer... but what is normal? Also, would we tip the florist when they drop off the bouquets and bouts.? If so, again, how much? Is there anyone else we should be thinking about tipping? Church musicians, etc? Thanks in advance!

You might want to add to your list your Maitre D and/or your bridal attendant.

Oh yeah... well the hall recommends a certain amount for the maitre'd that is required. do you tip on top of that? I forgot about the bridal attendant. :) Thanks
Good question... I was wondering this myself. I am sure it depends a bit on how satisfied you are but there must be a minimum guideline.

This is who and how much we are tipping: Matrd' - $2 pp ($2 x 200 = 400) Photographer - $100 (even though it is the owner) Videographer - $100 (even though it is the owner) Videographer Assistant - $50 (even though it is the owner's wife) DJ - $100 (even though it is the owner - he is also the MC) DJ Assistant (he is the DJ) - $50 Limo Drivers (even though a 20% gratituty was added to be contract, we are still giving them extra) - $50 each driver Florist delivery person - $25 Makeup Artist - $30 (even though it is the owner) Hair Stylist - $20-$30 (even though it is the owner)

Alot of people feel that if you have a vendor who is an owner of the company than they are making all the money and do not need a tip.

Usually if someone owns the business, you don't have to tip them.
