I got my dress at David's Bridal. I have heard and read about on here about bad experiences with DB and alterations. Any recommendations of who I can use?

Call Lucy at Crystals Waters in Bellmore on Merrick Rd. 781-8080. She is amazing and not too expensive. Tell her Karissa sent you. She is so sweet also.

I am in the same situation. I don't want to go back to David's for my alterations. Any ideas would be great!

If you don't mind traveling to Queens, I Highly recommend Karin Yngvesdotter. She is so incredibly talented and such a sweetheart! (I learned about her through these boards; she has gotten rave reviews from many brides.) Karin's actully a wedding gown designer and a seamstress on the side (so you know she knows her stuff!).
