even though i'm not ttc right now, i've thought about this and i would want to know what the sex is. mainly b/c i don't think i can wait that long to find out plus i'd want the clothes to be specific to the gender. i find it easier personally to go shopping for a baby shower gift if i know what the gender is

A few people around me don't want to know what I'M having lol. Including my mom and my boss. they don't want me to tell them

I had a brief moment of not finding out but Dh and I both are impatient and planners. we want to have a gender specific nursery and clothing etc and we think it's a surprise when you find out at 5 months or 9 months. Besides,for me,I think I will feel so much closer to the baby once I can kind of imagine the little person he/she is and it helps knowing the sex.

We'll be team green when the time comes.

I feel there are too few surprises in life, and I want that 'It's a...' moment in the delivery room. I think that's the only thing that will get me through labor lol

Plus, I want my family to have that moment as well in the waiting room

I could never wait because its tortorous and Being in labor and knowing the sex didn't make it stressful. I liked knowing so I could buy all the things for that sex for example I had two boys so I bought boy things instead of everything yellow or neutral which is what you will get for your shower. I had everything ready for the baby when he came and the room all set up in adorable boy themes. So when I have my next and if its a girl I can decorate in all girl themes and have the cutest adorablest girly clothes to take the baby home home in.

hmm thats a good question. On the one hand I want the surprise factor of not knowing but on the other hand, I'll be so nervous that I will buy the wrong things that I will want to know hmmmm

i want it to be a surprise! it can only be 1 of 2 possibilities, so i'm willing to wait!

Speaking from experience...
My first was a surprise but I was to young to appreciate anything.
My second, we found out because DH wanted a girl so bad.
My third and last, we didn't and it was the most wonder gift ever. My pregnancy was never boring because we would guess what we were having and we had to come up with names for both genders. My DH wanted a boy but when he saw it was a girl, he came down in tears because of all the emotions.
If I were to do it againg (which I'm not), I would do it the same as my last. It's just an amazing feeling.

I want it to be a surprise.....1.)I always wanted to keep it a surprise, and 2.) MIL wants to know, so anything to irritate her

dh and i thought we would want to find out the sex...now i decided i def wouldnt find out. i think he still wants to but in this instance i have the final say so when the time comes, unless he convinces me otherwise we wont know until the baby is born!

I would want to be surprised, but then I wouldn't be able to plan accordingly! I wouldnt want my kid in everything yellow and green. I'm still up in the air about it. DH wants to know but that surprise must be so exciting!!

I'm not finding out. It's something I always wanted to be a surprise. It adds to the excitement IMO.

All 11 of my nieces and nephews have been surprises and we were all soo excited the days leading up to their births to finally find out what it is!

My mil never found out with any of her children. I would like to do that seems so exciting but DH wwill never go for it. And he can't keep a secret for his life :)

I'm not sure yet, but probably leaning towards finding out. The planner in me is taking over lol

I wanted to find out so badly with my son. I got my first 3d sonogram at 12 weeks because I was so anxious. I don't think I could have waited.....LOL
