Who wants to see the progress of our walkin closet?

Here is the story.

We have what we call a 'Bonus Room' right next to our Master Bedroom.

The only way in 'was' from the 1st floor using dropdown stairs.

We decided to cut a doorway from the Master Bedroom in the Bonus Room to create a huge walkin closet.

Here is the progress:

The window in the Bonus room.

Installing the electric for lighting.

Installing the installation.

Framing the door, that will be the door from the master bedroom into the walkin closet.

Sheetrocking the room.

The cabinets Phil loved and installed.

This is the new door from the master bedroom to the walk-in closet. That was wall!!!

My Dad was that handy but my FH... well?

I wouldn't mind living in that closet.

Tara that looks INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!! Phil has such talent!! I would love to hire him to teach Frankie and to help him with our new formal dining room!! Phil's taste is fantastic!!!!!!!!

I want one of those!!!! Good job! I can't wait to see it finished. What are you going to keep in the cabinets?

I am not sure yet. Phil got those from a homeowner who was going to throw them out. He thought we could store our sweaters, but I am not sure yet.

Pocket books.

Those would be PEFECT for pocketbooks & accessories.

You have alot of clothes too, the closet is for both us, I get 70%, maybe 75% of the space and you get 25%. Sound fair!!!

Sounds fair to me! I keep telling DH that I desperately want US to have a walk-in closet and he always corrects me and says that I always want ME to have a walk-in.... We have 3 closets and 2 dressers in our BR right now, I have 2 closets (the bigger ones) and one dresser. Let's not talk about the cheesy cardboard 3-drawer thing I have in my closet just for my underwear!! It's a fact most women have more clothes than men.
