I'm sure we can all look back and remember that one teacher that had a positive/negative impact on us.
Mine was my 2nd grade teacher, Ms. Winograde. She was a no-nonsense, strict, older teacher that knew her stuff. I remember how strict she was, but I also remember her instilling my love for reading in us and how much I truly learned that year. She'd read from Shel Silverstein's books and had us write letters to the mayor to NOT shovel out Queens last and we went on so many interesting trips.

My High School Chemsitry teacher, Mr. Almansi. I LOVED him, and he always believed in me, even when i NEVER grasped the concepts of Chemistry. He always told me that I should become a nurse, because I had a BIG HEART
Did you go to Northport? I had Mr. Almansi as well! He was a great teacher. I actually enjoyed going to chem class! He made it very interesting. Another favorite teacher would have to be Mrs. Levitt. She believed in me 1,000% and helped me build my confidence!

Mr Almansi!!! He was sooooo funny! He would always talk about his gout! But he was so good hearted and his Holocaust class was so special.
I love so many of my teachers. Mr Schmierer, my 5th grade teacher was tough but so much fun. Mr Begley and Mr Anderson, the 7th grade team of english and social studies...just good people. very caring about their students!
Ilene mclaughlan...health teacher. probably the teacher i felt most comfortable talking to. she was younger than my other teachers, but just real with us!
and at dowling, prof. dillon. he was the most caring professor in special education. he was soooo passionate about special education.
