Why dont they go to the beach with the pple from the front, where they dont have to live in the dark?

Im glad Rose's husband (?) is alive.

You mean Anna-Lucia? She is played by Michelle Rogdriugez, not Rosario Dawson.

I believe she is angry , b/c her group hasn't had the greatest time on the Island. No Locke, to hunt for them, no Jin to fish for them & the probable beating/killing by the Others. ( Hence the dwindling population.)

Sure but why be so angry with the three stooges? Have they told her they've been having a gay old time? Why wouldn't she want to get on their good side so they would want to help them and bring them to party central!!

And why was Hurley suddenly having such a hard time with being in charge of the food? Um, wasn't he the one rationing the plane food when they first crashed? Why was it such a struggle for him to face the position now?

Hurley was acting that way IMO because of how people turend on him when he won the lottery, liek people only liked him for what he has and made his life hell when they didnt get there way. I compleetly understood his perspective

Yeah, that made sense, but I forgot about the rationing in the beginning. I guess it was differnt, b/c he hadn't developed friendships with people yet?

How the heck did the media know that Hurley was the lottery winner when he hadn't even turned in his ticket yet?

They always know what store it was sold at, so they wnet to that store. Hurley happened to be dribing by to get beer with his freind & when he saw the crowd, he wanted to leabve, but his friedn wanted to see what the commotion was & then the store owner recognized him.

( Also, the sotre owner was the guy in the chicken suit in thr dream, right?)

But still, out of all the tickets that were sold, how would the guy know that he sold the winning ticket to Hurley? A minor technicality, I know, but it bugged me.

me too! The guy at the store doesn't look at the man and memorize exactly who purchased what lotto numbers, that's silly! Like he knew Hurley was going to win or something

Yeah, I guess Hurley would be memorable, but I was assuming maybe that guy didn't sell a lot of lotto tickets & remembered Hurley comign in a the time the ticket was sold. I know, it's a stretch, though.

I understood the parallel between his winnings and the food but again, it annoyed me because it hadn't come up when he was in charge of handing out plane food.

I loved that Rose saved the candy bar for Principal Dewey!

I know me too...I am so glad Rose's husband is alive...AND that is very interesting about how the store owner knew Hurley purchased the winning ticket. I can't wait to next week...
