Mine is this weekend. My only good friend from grad school is not going, and I really am not sure if I want to go. Dowling does undergrad graduation on the same day! What do you think ladies? Should I go?

I only went to mine b/c I knew I would be seeing friends that had moved away. That, and the fact that my parents would have KILLED me if I didn't give them the opportunity to see me go across that stage!

Mine is Friday, and I wasn't going to go but then I decided I will. They call your name, which they didn't do at my undergrad school (I went to a large university, so it was kind of like everyone in the college of arts, turn your tassles!). I am planning on starting a doctoral program in a year, but should my Master's be the last degree I complete, I decided I wanted to be there.

My mother was very upset with me because I didn' go to my Law School Graduation or my Master's graduation.
Oh well! I didn't want to go at all!

I didn't go to graduation when I got my masters. For whatever reason it was on Thursday and I was not going to take a day off that close to my students having finals.

I did not go to mine either. It was early on a Saturday and I just couldn't drag myself out of bed - it was a rough week at work that previous week.
My parents were disappointed that I didn't go and hear my name called with honors. I wanted the sleep :)
When I receive my 2nd masters in a year, I will most likely go to that.

My fiance did. He didn't want to, but I wanted him to as did is family. As it turns out he won an award, so we went to the award ceremony too, and they also announced it at the graduation ( and gave us special seats) so I'm glad he went.
To me it was a big accomplishment, b/c I don't think I could ever go back to school.

I am skipping my graduation next week. I am getting my MSEd in School Psychology, but I decided to wait and go to the graduation when I finish the program in two years with my PsyD.o

Mine is June 13th and I am still debating if I am going. My parents are in NY and I would prefer that they save the money to come to Chicago since they are spending so much on the wedding already. My mom said she definitely will come if they can't afford for everyone to come.

I went to mine (from Hofstra). I wouldn't have missed it for the world, I couldn't wait to walk across that stage!

I just went to mine on Saturday and I'm so glad I went! I didn't walk as an undergrad, and it was a huge honor to sit on the stage, walk in with the presidents party, and get hooded by my mentor while my family watched.

I went to mine, it was two weeks ago. I only went because my mother really wanted me to go and it was Mother's Day, so I went. In the end, I was really glad I went. I had this whole sense of pride and accomplishment that day. I didn't know anyone at mine. All the gals I graduated with didn't go either and we had the whole undergrad thing to. It wasn't that bad!! I say go, how many times do you graduate grad school? It is a great accomplishment, go and enjoy your special monent!!

I just went to mine and had a blast. We had a catered party afterwards and enjoyed ourselves. Go girl. How many times do you graduate from grad school.

I didn't go to my grad school graduation.. i finished last Aug and wouldn't be able to participate in a ceremony until the following Dec.. by that point I was so happy to be done with grad school that I didn't feel like going back there!

i went....i had nothing else to do and it was convenient. had family there....got some flowers, took pictures, it was really sweet!
