Who went to your first fitting?

Who went to your first fitting?

I asked my mom and MOH to go with me. I told FH that I have my fitting this Thursday and he asked me to ask my FMIL to go with me. I want the first fitting to be with just the 3 of us. Is that wrong?

NO i will probably only have my mom and moh go with me also, i guess if you are close with fmil then you could ask her but i am not so i won't

my mom was supposed to go w/ me, but something came up last minute, so one of my bms went w/ me instead.

No, I am not close with her (i was until FH and I got engaged). And things are not so 'wonderful' between FMIL and my mom. I think the whole thing would be uncomfortable. I just want to enjoy myself.

mom went to first fitting, bridesmaid went to second, mom and moh went to final.

My sister and JANNA (BKtoLI). I will never forget how incredible she was! My mom had surgery out of state that day and she stepped up as a second set of eyes:

My mom and my FMIL went with me to my first fitting. Just me and them. It was great!

I had my Mom and FMIL come, only cause I have no wedding party members in the area.

My 2nd fitting, I brought a close and dear friend!

Only my mother came and I am so glad, becuase the first fitting was really stressful. I had to argue alot with the seamstress and the manager and eventually the entire staff joined the argument over what my dress should look like. It would've been worse if there were more people there.

i dont think its wrong invite her for the second fitting, for my first i am bringing my mom i want it to be special for her... My FMIL dosent want to know anything about the wedding she wants to be completely suprised

you have every right to enjoy this experience!
It's not customary to invite the FMIL and it's YOUR decision what to do do! go with your gut!
