Your Mom's parents or your Dad's parents? And did that change as you got older?
When I was little, Mom's parents were the 'fun' grandparents. Took me places, had a good laugh, played games with them. Dad's parents were the A typical German old schoolers, serious, no smiles, etc. I did stuff with them, like fishing, beach, but they were just very, very serious and didn't quite 'get' me. As I got older, I grew to appreciate them both more and the valuable lessons they could teach me. I still cry when I think of my Grandmother, we grew to be extremely close during her last years. I still have my Mother's mother who is as wacky as ever. She'll be 94 this year.

I only had my mothers mother so she wins by default She would have been my favorite anyway

My Dads Parents - They raised me and I never knew my biological mother or her parents...until recently

My Dad's parents, but mainly because my Mom's parents moved down to Florida when I was very young and I never got to see them that much.

my mom's parents - - - I was incredibly close to them. Spent weeks with them while my parents vacationed, and basically saw them every week (if not more) until they moved to Florida when I was 14. Sadly, Pop passed away 5 years ago, and Grandma suffers from progressed Alzheimers.

definitely closer to my grandma from my mother's side, so much she practically raised me since she took care of me while I lived in my country while my mom was here.

Good question... my father's mother lived down the block from us so we saw her all the time (my Grandfather passed away before I was born).
My mother's parents lived in the Bronx until they moved to Florida (then my Grandfather passed away) so now my Grandmother is alone in Florida and my father's mother is in a Nursing Home so I'm close with both of them.
As a child I was probably closer to my mother's parents, eventhough my father's mother lived down the block
