Who will be bringing up gifts in church?

Is it Godparents, parents or what? Anyone know?

The priest suggested that to use our parents. He told us not to choose someone who is too young or who has problems walking because they have to walk all up the alter and up the steps. (Usually the priest will meet the people half way.) So we're thinking our parents.

were using 3 cousins, and an aunt..
we really wanted to include alot of our family

if you don't mind, What are you guys talking about? Is this in a Catholic church? And last but not least what gifts?

CAtholic church and they call the wine and communion gifts. They are normally on a table about 1/2 down the asile in the church. Normally they ask special people to the bride and groom to bring it up to the priest at the alter.
I think it is normally the mothers that do it but I am sure you can have anyone do it.

It can be anyone you choose. We are having his aunt and uncle who we are close with. Also being the fact that they are very religious people.

Our godparents will be bringing up the gifts.

Thanks guys. FH wasn't having his parents and people were telling me parents were supposed to, but it looks like anyone can do it. Good! Thanks for helping me figure this out.

thanks for clearing that up. We go to our precana class in March, I guess they will tell us about that then. When I had my meeting with the priest he didn't say anything. Great more things I have to worry about appointing people.
