I know it's not me- I still have months to go!! I'm worried about the cake, too. Is everyone using them for the cake? FH and I are contemplating getting one from another bakery.

I heard from Glenmar Studios (a photographer that works with the Swan Club quite often) that they got a new baker and that the cakes are way better looking. I'm getting married there in April 2008, so definitely keep me posted as to what else you hear!!

You're before me! I'm June 2nd. I want to go for my tasting soon and tell them that I want my cake to be 3 stacked cakes totally white with NOTHING on it. Then I am going to have my florist put flowers on.
I hope it's better then what I have heard from past brides ! ! ! ! ! !

I have 5 months to go!! Yikes!
Time will fly! Still have to work on the music, reception planning and picking a color for my BMs!

I think we will probably buy a cake. However is the cakes look better by the time some of you girls who would marry before me we might change our mind.

We are probably the last to get married at the Swan Club this year.
I am really worried about their cake too. We are on a very, very tight budget and I was at their bridal expo this past Thursday night and tasted their cake. They were ok looking on the outside, but were almost tasteless and kind of dry. It didn't taste like it was old, it was almost as if they missed a few ingredients or something. I also tasted another baker's cakes that they had there who is an outside vendor...what a difference! Yummy! I think we might splurge and just buy one. If anyone else is buying their cakes, who are you using?

I cant spend any extra money on something that is included in my price you know? besides Im also having the vienesse hour so that should make up for the cake IF it doesnt taste too good! which i hope it does!!! I cant wait to see pics and reviews of swannies!!!
