While you're getting ready on your wedding day? I am getting anxious thinking there is going to be 50 people at my house the morning of?
I'm the first girl in my family to get married and I keep hearing, 'I want to be there in the morning when you get ready,' from every aunt and family friend, oy... I just don't want added stress in the morning, is it possible?

I hear you. I am having both sets of parents, and both the guys and girls of the BP. Too many people!

Pretty sure my sister (MOH) will spend the night before with me at my place. Then in the AM my Mom, other sister and two nieces (all BM's) will meet us at my place, as well as my two other BM's.

Well Traditionally (in my family at least) The women come to my mother's house and the men go to FH's mothers house. BUT his dad comes to my house.
I take pics in my mother's bedroom and I take pics of the women dressing me., and My mom and dad and FMIL and FFIL...
BUT FMIL and FFIL cannot come to my house in the morning b/c they will have out of control guests staying at their house...
so for the most part women at my house., men at his.

There were a lot of people at my house but I didn't even notice. No one ever came upstairs where I was taking pictures so it didn't really effect me. I had my mom, sister (MOH), aunt helping me get dressed and my BM's came in when they needed to take pictures. Other than that, the chaos stayed away from me.

It will be my family--mom, dad and brother. All the BM's are getting ready at my cousin's house, which is about 10 minutes from the church. We couldn't have that many people at my house--it's too overwhelming and I wanted some calm before the storm.

Only the girls from the bridal party, my mom, FMIL and My Great Aunt who is 80 and is flying from in from Chicago. I don't want anybody extra.

Just say no. It's not an open house.
Explain to your mom that while you and she are getting ready in the morning, there won't be enough time to entertain. Everyone can see you at the ceremony and at the reception.

It I come from a big Italian family and I am the first one to get married, so for the most part it will be my parents, sisters and BM, but aunts, uncles and grandparents will definitely be there as well....
I really do not mind, I am actually looking forward to having that time with my family.

well i am not getting ready at home so i am not worried about that, but i am staying at my mom's house the night before, and she has already said that it will only be me, her, my dad and my 2 sisters. none of us need the added stress!!

I will get ready in my paretns suite at The Inn at Fox hollow. Ill have my mom, and my BMs with me.

I think my sister (MOH), FSIL (BM) & best friend (BM), my Mother, & my daughter. My fourth BM will come to the hotel a little later on.

I stayed over the night before at my mom's house, as did some of my BMs. By the time I got dressed I had all 4 of my BMs there, my MOH, jrBM, FG, grandparents, SIL, nephew, dad, step-mom, and of course my mom!! Plus the photographer!!
It was a full house but we needed them all there for pictures. So I left them downstairs and had 2 of my BMs and my mom go into her bedroom and help me put my dress on. Then they all got to see me when I went downstairs for pics.

In order to keep the day as calm as possible, it will just be my BM's, mom, brother and step-father... We think too many people will be chaotic.

Only want my mom and the BP but like someone else said, I am a novelty because first girl gettin' hitched though several others are 'living in sin' according to our family -eyeroll- and/or knocked up with tiny tykes around. I am 'doing the family proud...-more eyerolling- so EVERYONE wants to be there and I know it will be a battle...but I do NOT want 30 people in the room with me. bridal suite is NOT that big! They can flippin see me when everyone else does. When Im dressed I will probably let my Dad in.
