Who wins the Oscar for best picture this year?

For the first time ever.. and thanks to FW.. I have seen all the nominees... LOL

With the guys, it would be Freddy vs. Jason. (though I was able to get the FW to see that one too.. FW is very versatile. LOL)

THis is the only category I can name all the nominees... and if your fav movie isn't on the list, tell us... eg. Cold Mountain.

LOTR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mind you, I wasn't even a fan of the first two movies, FH had to sit me down and we watched a LOTR marathon on DVD before even going to see the third one ...

I loved it more than I've loved any movie in a looong time. It was the first time in recent memory that I can remember a crowd CHEERING during certain scenes, and giving it a standing 'O' at the end. It didn't even feel like it was a long as it was, and that's saying a lot from me who ALWAYS gets antsy in the movies

I will practically bet money that its gonna win ... not only for the fact that the movie stands alone as a masterpiece .. but just to honor the series as an amazing accomplishment in filmmaking.

LMAO... I had been eagerly awaiting you and other posters who I know as Yankees fans to respond to that.. maybe it was a bit over the top.. but then again... it was kinda funny! I had a good laugh.
