actually it very expensive int he city for threading is like 7bucks, but i think u are better off doing ur eyebrows either in queens or Long ilsand where they charge you anywhere from 4 to 5 dollars

Re: Who works in NYC?

About Shohba - I always go there too - have been going there for about 3 years now - love them!!

I want you to take in consideration a few things before you book your appointment though - since you are using them the day before your wedding.

1 - I am not the type of girl who gets her eyebrows done there every 2 weeks - I just need it done once every 1.5-2 months. The inbetween time I maintain them myself.

If you are like me or this is your first time, I suggest going there about a week before your wedding AND then a mini touch-up the day before.

I am only saying this because sometimes I have some eyebrow hair that really does not want to come out. Shohba really makes your eyebrows very neat and clean. So sometimes i have very small (but noticeable) scabs by my eyebrows where they had to use a little bit more elbow grease. It takes about a week for them to disappear. I know this may sound horrific and with probably pictures of scabs, etc, in your head - it isn't bad for every day but if you want to be PERFECT on your wedding day...

Well, I just wanted to share with you my experience and situation - probably it is because I don't do it very often...

Just something to consider - you just never know...and better safe than sorry! But Shohba is great!!

FM me if you have any questions. : )

Shohba is around $20 for just eyebrows.
