Who would have thought saints work at the post office!!!!
For a while, I thought I was never going to get my invites but I got them Monday and they went out today!
FH brought them to the post office and the lady said some look a little heavy. FH had to head to work and was going to take them home for me to figure out today...but the lady offered to weight them all individually and add a stamp to the ones that needed extra postage and just call FH and tell him what we owe. About half of them needed add'l postage. The lady fixed them all and sent them out for us!
I am amazed by the generosity of this lady!

That's really nice of her!
But how come some weighed more than others? That makes no sense...

That is what I was wondering! I wonder if hot glue has some weight to it. I noticed when I was stuffing envelopes that some felt heavier and maybe had more hot glue from the assembly process. I will have to ask Tessa about that.

Hot glue? Did yours have ribbon on them? I can't recall....I don't think there was any hot glue on my sample, I can't even imagine what would be glued like that

it had some hemp like ribbon, but it was layered a bit. so I guess that is how its assembled. They came out beautiful though. I love the invites! an extra $13 is no biggie esp since I didn't have to re stamp them! haha
When should you get your invites? Are they in production? You have nothing to worry about. They came out amazing!

Mine *should* start production by the end of July and be delivered by the end of August, and I can't wait! I was really hoping to send out the A list by September 1st so we'll see. I'm nervous though, because not ONE single person has RSVPed to my shower, so I can only imagine they will take forever to respond to the wedding invites too!
