My NYCares Secret Santa child asked for some sneakers, she's 10 and drew a cute little picture of a sneaker on the letter.
I've been back & forth with the Boys & Girls Club to find out the child shoe size ...
she's a WOMEN'S SIZE NINE!!!!
I was just so stunned!! My niece who is TALL and the same age wears the same size shoe as me & I found that amazing!

Could be but when I was like 'WOW' to the center mgr, she was like 'Well, she is a big girl' (which made me feel bad) and at first her mom told her she was size 8-8 1/2 but I guess decided a bigger size would stop her from busting out of them?
I don't even care if it is bogus ... I'd still feel good about myself for knowing I'm doing it for the right reason

Im not suprised. I have a 9 year old neice who is very self concious about her feet. She's a size eight and still growing...

working in a shoe department, you see all sorts of crazy feet (big and small). at least she's lucky to find shoes in her size.. i've had 11 year olds come in asking for a size 12! (womens) i couldn't believe it.
