Danielle is supposed to come over after work today...Do you think I should tell her to go home instead??? If its going to be really windy, I dont want to risk anything happening to her.

Re: WHOA the wind IS bad!!!!!!!
Honestly it depends on what she's driving.. I wouldnt risk it.. but that's me.. im way overprotective of Jim. heh
If I were driving my MX there'd be no way I'd feel safe driving. You know how small that is.. the gusts are random so it could catch you at a curve when you least expect it.
Im sure it's probably not the worst ever.. and for now it's nice and bright out. If I had a heavier vehicle and knew to drive slow and cautiously.. id see no problem.. but I'd be careful.

I drive a Civic too and I could feel the wind shaking the car a little this morning- but I'm also way out in the middle of nowhere so, not much to block any of it. I don't think she should have a real problem - not enough to blow her off the road. Just tell her to try and take it a little slow. I thought the really bad winds were supposed to be around the middle of the afternoon though?

Re: WHOA the wind IS bad!!!!!!!
you all must be getting the wind we had - last night and this morning we had severe wind advisories - 30-60 mph wind gusts etc.
Now we have sun and snow!!!

It was LIGHT this morning?? I almost got blown away! I literally had to stop in the middle of the parking lot as I was walking into work to brace myself against the wind... I can't imagine what could be worse!

We're on the 4th floor of a building on a hill. My boss has the 'corner' office with two walls of windows and it seriously sounds as if one of the panes is going to blow out any minute. I work for a SUNY, that should tell you alot about the condition of the buildings here.
