i work in a daycare but does anyone feel like you pass the same damn virus back and forth a million times. This is my second time getting the stomach virus and my job doesn't understand how i could be sick again. It's only a 24 hour thing-i was sick last night ( puking and well everything out either end) but went to work anyway and when i said i needed to go home they couldnt believe i was sick! Needless to say i worked the whole day being completely miserable. Anyone else feel me in this pain????????????????????????

I feel ya. I work in a high school but still..the germs are gross.
Today one of the kids blew his nose..then handed me a paper. I couldn't wait to sanitize myself!! All the kids have been coughing and sneezing every where.

haha i go through tons of sanitizer-i have it built into my wall actually so its never an issue.

ugh i can just imagine! i dont work in a school but ever year in high school it was inevitable that i get strep at least 2x..... eh not su fun

i worked in day care for three years. but the palce i worked really understood when we were sick. they actually expected employees to be out after two weeks because almost always thats when they first get sick.
i work in a middle school now, and i had to go for a strep test today.. get the results tomorrow...blahh

don't i know it! lol i used to work in a day care and i was sick alllll the time. im a third grade teacher now and i probably get sick from them once or twice a school year! it *****!

i teach 2nd grade and although my kids are great, they still don't know how to use tissues properly so there are tons of germs squirming around my classroom.....i got the stomach virus twice....the monday before christmas and the monday after christmas........my principal is understanding though.......if you get sick she wants you to stay home, not come to work

doesnt matter if you work with kids or not. even if you work in a close office setting if one person gets sick we all get sick.
thought FSIL works part time at tutor time in CT and doesnt get sick very often but her son always has a runny nose.

I work with children with autism who are 3-6 at school and in their homes. I teach the kids to blow their noses so I always get sick. It is so hard for me because parents sometimes think we are a babysitting service and send them to school or I go to their house and then there sick. Then the parents get mad that I call out sick!
