Whoever is honeymooning in Hawaii, please help....

I am in the process of booking our airfare. We flying out on Sunday July 17th & returning on Wednesday July 27th. Can anyone tell me what they are paying for air & the route they are going?? If you're going to fly within the islands, can you tell me what the average cost should be per person?? I'm just trying to compare. You're all the best!! Thanks so much for any help!!!

In April we paid $695 a person on airfare. We used United Airlines and left out of Newark. There was a short layover on SF for about 1 1/2 hours. The inter-island flights are about $119 a person. Some include more then one island. We used Aloha airlines.

We used Expedia and booked a package. We fly out of Newark thru Chicago and go straight in to Maui. We are staying there all 10 days. We don't know what each piece breaks out to but we are paying $4500 for airfare for two, hotel at the Grand Wailea and a car.

i am leaving on 4/16 and returning on 4/29 we are flying first classon delta and american and are paying $3,000 for both of us. the inter-island fare is $500 for 3 islands for both of us. I took the advice from my travel agent and watched the rates every day on all websites. they fluctuate so much all the time, when i found the lowest price i locked it in. i booked straight through delta and american.

Re: Whoever is honeymooning in Hawaii, please help....

I paid $1500 for the 2 of us total... that included continental airlines flight out of newark with a stop in houston, then to hawaii, an interisland flight from oahu to kauai and back, and a nonstop flight from oahu to newark.

ETS: I used Aloha Airlines for the interisland flights and booked the flights online.

Wow - your itinerary is almost the same as ours. We're flying Continental out of JFK to Oahu (stopping in Houston). Then an inter island flight from Oahu to Kauai, then Kauai back to Oahu. Then Oahu back to JFK on Continental (stopping again in Houston).
Total comes to $1595.50. I think that's about right....
