Whoever said it takes weeks for pill to leave your system lied, bc.....

I'm pregnant! I was only off for a week. I had AF the week after we got back from our honeymoon. We were so busy, I didn't refill until tues the week I was supposed to take them again. So I figured I'd just start the following Sunday and made sure we didn't *you know* until I was back on. Little did that help bc we concieved that first week I was back on.

When i found out I was like bc DH and I were not TTC. In fact we planned on waiting 2yrs until he graduated law school. When I told DH, he was like he just couldn't deal and didn't want to talk about it.

But he's come around now and I'm excited. I'm 7.5 weeks and due in May. I have my first Dr. appt on Tues.

Congratulations!!! That's wonderful news. I'm glad husband came around. I'm sure it was a big shock but everything will work out fine

They are not as frequent and definitely more bearable. I'm just happy I'm not congested anymore.

We had an awesome time at Larkfield!

Second, I dont know who told you that but its very very untrue about the pill taking awhile to leave your system. You are actually quite fertile in your first cycle off the pill.

And I should know...we conceived both our children the first cycle off the pill.

Enjoy your pregnancy! Sometimes our plans take a detour and it works out even better than we could imagine it would.

congrats and I'm sorry that you were so surprised....I think it's a matter of the hormones leaving your system and balancing out more than the NOT being able to get pregnant
