I just got the BEST news I've heard in a million years!! I'm getting a breast reduction!!!!!
I've been fighting with my insurance company for about a year now and they finally approved it today!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank you!!! I have Oxford and have been fighting with them forever on this... I have severe back problems and this is going to help me look and feel 100000% better!!! And now I can buy pretty bras!!!!!

Oooh Liz!! I couldn't wait for you to see this!!!!! I'm so glad you spoke to them! I thought his staff was wonderful!!!! You understand how badly I needed this...it's been so emotionally traumatic dealing with Oxford! But, in the end-I WON!!! I'm so excited!! I'll share with you (and anyone else who needs info) everything I went through and what seemed to work! Love ya chicky!!!

Congrats!!! That is a great accomplishment to get them to pay for it. I read an article once on it. Many women have back problems and insurance companies don't cover it!!!

Cooky-EXACTLY!! It's not just a cosmetic thing for most women! I have extremely severe scoliosis and the extra weight has caused my upper back muscles to overdevelop-which is sooo painful! Insurance companies can be so cruel with stuff like this. They wanted me to seek out conservative treatment (I saw a chiropractor) and then they denied my coverage for that! But, it's over!!!! Ahhhhh......

I also have that darn scoliosis, not sure if it's considered severe anymore tho' Did you ever wear a back brace?

I never did because my school caught it too late...By the time I saw a dr., my only option was surgery. My spine curves to the right at a 37 degree angle-anything over 40 degrees, they operate. It's a pain in the neck-literally! I have faith Sassy that you'll get this covered too!!!
