whoopps!!

So about a week ago I got a package in the mail from the Macy's Wedding Registry, saying it was purchased by FH's Aunt who lives upstate.

We got excited bc it was our first shower gift, and opened it. It was the Grind and Brew Coffee maker from our registry. soooo excited.

Fast Forward to today...I get a text from FH saying that his aunt called his mom wondering if the gift got delivered to my house by mistake. I guess she made a mistake when she ordered it online and sent it to me instead of herself! We opened it bc we figured she was kind of far and wouldn't be coming to my shower.

whoops!!! Now what?? I guess I pretend we never opened the box??

hurry and get that tape!

I'd wrap it back up and tell her that you never opened it, that you were going to open it at the shower with everything else, but the suspense is killing you...

I threw away the box!!! Calling my brother now to see if it is still on the side of the house!!!

oh, not the box it came in, the packing box. I didnt open the actual gift. Its in my basement with the rest of the stuff I cant use until I have an apartment. I guess I'm ok then. Maybe I'll have someone wrap it up for me and tell her that they took it the minute it got to me. Something like that....

just grab a cardboard box and wrap that..
or wrap the box it came in and say that it came in a big box with stuffing and this was wrapped inside.

It never happened! lol
