i used to go alot when i had my house in montauk ......
we stayed there for my fh bday one year. its honestly not all its hyped up to be IMO
We found the food to be not soo great for all the mney ur paying
the spa was great tho !!

its nice we had a good time but i wouldnt go back.
i love staying at the yacht club or royal atlantic.
the yacht club is out of town and the royal atlantic is right in the heart of town on the beach.
The harvest is one of the best restaurants in montauk
go to johns drive - in i used to work there for 7 years

I've spent my summers in Montauk every year since I was younger, the Harvest is amazing! Gurney's is overrated and overpriced. I know someone who went to a wedding there recently and said the food and service was pretty bad. I also second the Royal Atlantic!

I also prefer Royal Atlantic..>Great location in town and it is comfy. I would eat in town anyway so it was fine for us.. Gurney's has the 'name' and it is nice, but expensive in my opinion.
