So, who's drinking at their wedding? I'm not a big drinker, but I have a bad habit of getting trashed at weddings as does FH (oh the pics we have from my brother's wedding). FH has a bad habit of groping me and undressing me when he's drunk.
I know we are going to drink, but I'm wondering to what extent. I know I don't want to be hanging off the dock puking, but I also don't want to be sober. I also know there will be pictures that I'll be looking at for a lifetime.
Guess there's always the after party.......hmmmmm decisions decisions!!!!!
What about you guys?

I'm going to drink, but I want to dance as long as possible, so we will see if I remember to have a drink if one of my songs come on. I plan on being a dancing fool.

That's my other issue. I feel too self conscious dancing in front of others unless i've strapped on a few. Once I'm buzzing, I have no problem shaking my tushy.

I will be drinking from the time I get my hair & make up done! lol. No but seriously, I know my limit so it's not even an issue that I think of. I say bring on the booze but just be smart about it! But now, the last hour of the reception (once all the older people have gone) anything goes!!!! 'i got my drink and my two step..'

Neither of us will drink too much. I don't wanna be drunk at my own wedding but i'll have a few glasses of champagne and/or wine.

Re: Who's doing it?
if you do drink, drink clear liquids. all i drank at the wedding was white wine, and dirty martini(s).
as i stepped outside at our CH, my brand new DH stepped on my dress, i stumbled and spilled my wine down the front of my dress. luckily it dried in 1 minute and didnt leave a stain but I was so happy I was only drinking clear liquids.
I did drink beer at our afterparty, but avoided that and champagne like a plague during the wedding because carbonation makes me hugely bloated and I didn't want to look pregnant in my pictures.

Re: Who's doing it?
I'll need a drink to calm my nerves before the ceremony...then maybe a couple at the reception to loosen up for the dancefloor!!
FH doesn't drink at all...he might have a beer or two...but that's his limit!!!

Re: Who's doing it?
i'm not a big drinker so i will probably have the same drink in my hand all night. i dont want to get drunk and miss anything or embarass myself.
ETA that i might need a shot or 2 before i walk down the aisle though to calm my nerves
