I haven't the slightest idea! The person that I wanted to do my makeup never contacted me, and I think its a horrible way to conduct business, so Im looking for another makeup artist right now. Oh and yes, you set up a trial with them first.

Mia from BridalLOunge is doing my makeup. I know that many of the popular makeup artists get booked far in advance, so I started calling around in February for a trial (8 months before my wedding). Some were already booked!
Mia did my trial in late February and I loved it. I booked her and so she'll be doing my makeup (and hair!).

I went for a trial with a friend of a friend who's been a makeup artist for 14 years... i figured that since we all knew eachother, it would be a no-brainer to book him, but unfortunately, i didn't like how I turned out so I'm finding someone else... I'm glad I did a trial first because you never know what they think 'wedding makeup' looks like...

its looking like my mom at this point .. i have went to three trials .. w.so called professionals who did nothing but make me look like a professional CLOWN![]()

I had Cathy from Trish McEvoy [Sakks/South Hampton] do my makeup. She was AWESSSOMEEE!!!
Usually you have a trial about 2 months before your wedding [give or take]. I only needed one trial for my makeup and it didn't cost me anything, we just gave her a nice tip. I had my trial in May and my wedding was 7-7.

Erica did a trial with me, where she styled me with many differnt looks to help me gage what I liked -since I had no ideas going into it. We spent alot of time finding colors and talking about skin care leading up to the b big day. I learned alot about what palletes look good on me and had the colors all set for my day of.

Im using the MAC Artist who did my sisters wedding (I was in BP so she did mine and I loved it, that as like my 'unofficial trial'...going to have my real one in late June I think)...shes awesome. Lives/works in NJ so you have to travel to her for trial but its free, FM me for day of prices.

I used Denise from Angel Eyes she was great,I actually had 2 trials with her because I was unsure about my colors,she was great,she came to my parents house and did me,my mom and sister in law

I am using Anne DeMarco from Anne DeMarco Cosmetics. She does amazing work. She's very talented.
I had my trial with her at Madison Salon & Spa in Woodbury and then booked her.

I went to Macy's at the Bobby Brown counter and had a free trial done to see if I like them. I liked her so much and didn't go on any other trials. Not all are free though. That's all you have to do it make an appointment for a trial and see how they are.

I'm using Oksana.....I love her!!! I had my trial in January, and she did my make up exactly how I wanted it. FYI- she's an LIW vendor so you can find her info in their vendors section.

i used oksana and she rocked! 2 of my BM's are engaged now and they loved oksanas work so much that they are gonna book her too! (actually 1 did already and 1 plans to in the near future).
