I'm looking for a stylist to do my hair and my wedding partie's as well? Can anyone recommend someone? Also if you have pics of your first trial please post.

Using Jenn the Hair Genie and Makeup by Oksana, they come to you. Haven't had a trial yet, but they're very popular and you can see lots of examples on their sites and in reviews on here.

I am just going to a local salon around the block from my house. It will only cost about $65-$75 for the day of and a trial is only $35. I can't see spending anymore than that. If someone comes to the house I think they charge a little extra. I called a couple of places and they charged above $100. I thought that was Crazy!!

Kacey from Khouloud's is doing my hair and make up. She did my friends make up and I loved my trial with her.

I am using Antonella from Jason Royce salon which is just down the road from Fox Hollow. She is coming to me, she is my normal hair dresser but they are right next to the Woodbury Commons. FM me if you want her number
Stacy Pitt Stacy She is amazingly talented, incredibly reasonable and SO sweet. If you're interested in more reviews, take a look on the NYC Knot board - a TON of girls have used her.
Here is my hair on my wedding day - extensions and all.
For hair, I'd also recommend Roseanna Amador. Her website is www.cosmony.com. She is very sweet, extremely talented and she said she'd do extra things on my wedding day like tell the florists where to set up, when to get there, etc.

If you are willing to go to a salon, check on Salon Entourage on Jericho Tnpk in Syosset. That is where I am going for my wedding, they are phenominal there I love it! Also it is a lot less money than having someone go to you.
