Who's going to Flowerfield tomorrow?

My fiance and I went and had a really great time (even though I was recovering from a migraine - I still enjoyed myself) My fiance couldn't get over the cocktail hour room - he was so fascinated by it.

The food was so amazing!!! They had really good hot passed apps - vegetable napoleon, fried mozzarella, lamb chops, a couple of things in crispy phyllo dough cups etc. The cold displays were outstanding! fresh mozzarella and red roasted peppers, caesar salad, hummus and pita wedges, prosciutto (that I wrapped around canteloupe), strawberries and heavy whipped cream, baked brie (holy cow - it was the best thing ever!)... Oh my god, I'm getting hungry thinking about all of the amazing food!!!

The cakes were so good! We tried the red velvet cake with cream cheese icing, and the chocollate cake with the fondant icing and the raspberry (or cherry maybe?) filling. The chocolate fountain was the best kind - the kind of chocolate that hardens after it cools. The cookies, cannoli, and other pastries were so sinfully good!

I took my MOH yesterday and we had a really nice time. The flowers were absolutely unbelievable, food and cakes were great, and I absolutely loved the chocolate fountain!

All the vendors were really nice. I was very impressed with all of them and I only hope, I will be able to use most of them.

Even though I am getting married at Land's End which I am ecstatic about, I have to say that Flowerfields is absolutely gorgeous!
