the dash in the second line i think is more dramatic....its not another BORING comma LOL (i know we all hate commas) so its like saying NOT BELOW OR ABOVE with more emphasis...and a nice change to the commas...

i personally enjoy the dash :)

if you are going to put a comma at the end of the second to last line, then you should also put one after Valentine's Day. But I dont think its necessary.

I prefer it without the comma.
