Who's having the holidays this year?

So as most of us will be married by december...who is having the holidays? you or your parents? i think we are having it this year!! i can't wait...!!our first holiday married!

Oh good for you! That will be nice having everyone at your new home for the holiday. Haven't really thought about it yet...probably just the usual traditions. It's a thought though.

My co-worker gave me a nice Bride and Groom cook book so Im sure I can find something there. Trust me I can't cook without a recipe lol

i wish we had a place big enough to do one of the holidays. But maybe in a few years. That is one thing that i look forward to doing though!

We have been having them for a while since we already own a home. I usually have Thanksgiving and Easter and my parents have Christmas and Christmas Eve.

Aw, yes that's exciting having your family over and your first Christimas in your new home! Do you like to cook? That will make it even more fun if you enjoy cooking. Oh, and congratulations on your new house by the way. It's very nice...cute house. Lots of luck! You and your FH make a very nice couple too! (Edited for grammar... )

I've been doing thanksgiving for a few years now, my mom cons me into it all the time! We'll probably be doing most o the holidays which is kind of crappy b/c we do both jewish and catholic holidays

It is a lot of work! I know, I read your other post...ha. Like I said, it's even better when you enjoy cooking. Growing up when we had the holidays my mother and father did it together and it was still a lot...he was a great help to my mother. Does your FH like to cook, too?

He mostly leaves the cooking to me but he is a huge help in the kitchen in other aspects. He's great!

My father asked me this. FH wants to host Thanksgiving but I'm not so sure. I told him it depends if we get all the china

I'd love to get the families together. At least our parents.
