I dunno how many of you girls like thai, but the BEST place is in Glen Cove. Its called Sarin and here is the address:
43 Glen Cove Rd # 6
Greenvale, NY 11548-1033

If you guys wanna do a simple dinner i'm down (as long as it can be kinda early, i gots to go home and go to bed). They are reasonably priced too!

There is a bar (barefoot peddler) right nextdoor for those who can stay out later and have drinks.

Just throwing the option out there.

I never had thai, but i try it! worst that happens, i wash it down with a few cold ones afterwards

oh i love thai!!! and i DO NOT do spicy food, but they have spicer dishes.
Their tamarind duck is amazing! I always get the pad thai though, a yummmmmy noodle dish with shrimp or chicken.

If everyone is down, lets get a head count and i'll give them a call for reservations. Usually we dont need them, but if its a bigger group it would be best.

The 12th would be better for me, just because with the kids (at my job) in 'summer school' I'm out at 5; on Saturdays I'm off at 8

We are all in agreement for FRIDAY Aug 12? Any objection to changing it to 7pm instead 8pm?

I can make the reservations as soon as we have a head count, i can wait probably until the day before.
