we're inviting my FH's boss and the vice presidents of the company he works for. Political reasons, of course....

and, I'm a student, so I don't have a boss

My boss and my supervisor will be invited. Although, I don't think my boss will come but at least I did the right thing.

ugh, i'm so torn about this. my direct boss is a VP and then his boss is SVP. i really don't want to invite them but don't know if politically i need to. i don't have a personal relationship with them at all. ugh.

i also plan to leave my job shortly before or after the wedding so that's a whole other factor.

I am inviting my boss and about 10 other people from my job. Unfortunately 1/2 of them invited themselves.

i'm pretty friendly with my boss so i just asked her if she wanted me to invite her. she told me not to. we are a small dept, so if she goes to one event, she has to go to all, so she said not to and she's is very cool about it.

I am inviting my two bosses and then the other 2 partners in the company plus some of the senior staff i work with every day that i am close with.

I'm definitley inviting my boss. I'm pretty close with him and have worked for him for over 4 years. I'm inviting about 10 people from my office.

i invited them, but i don't think they're coming...but at this point (low RSVP #s), I really want them to!!

I invited my 2 bosses and they both responded no (husband and wife). Keep in mind I have only been with them for 6 months.

In looking at our travel calendar over the next few weeks this may become a non-issue (for 2/3 at least) but I guess I still have to decide...
After reading your posts though I'm leaning towards inviting them now.. darn work!

I am inviting my boss and my co-workers in my office and co-workers from my old office. They will probably make up there own table if they bring dates/husbands.

I'm inviting the big boss, the assistant big boss, another kind of boss, my supervisor, 2 higher up kind of guys - and 5 secretaries along with their spouses. Plus 5 friends of mine with their S/O.
Plus 3 other guys I used to work with who are now in other departments, but I invited them to my e-party when they WERE here.

So, 18 people from work with their S/O.

I'm hoping they don't all come. Just the ones I really like.

i have 3 attorneys who are my boss's i will invite all 3 of them.. i have worked for them since i was 16... they are like family to me now..

I really don't want to invite my boss, either, but I feel like I have to. FH is still in business school so we don't have to worry about his side, but we both used to work at the same company and want to invite our friends from there., but just our friends. I'm not really friends with my boss, and personally don't want her to have any part of my big day. I hate the fact that you have to invite bosses, etc- I feel like it's our day and we should only invite people we truly want to share it with.

Fortunately our wedding will be long distance for everyone form my office here (I live in DC), so hopefully all the 'required invites' won't come...
