Who's 'job' is it to plan the bachelorette party???
Who is plannng your bachelorette party? Is it typical for the bride to get involved in the planning because I'm a little bit of a control freak when it comes to these things...

I think there is no 'rule' that says Anyone 'HAS' to plan it....
Talk to Ur BM and check with them... Maybe they want to surprise You... Or maybe they want u to be involve in them!

I am planning mine WITH my BM I am letting them plan the shower but i want to be involved with the bacherlorette party and they are ok with it.

it's typically your MOH who plans it ... but that doesn't mean you NEED to do that.
I was 100% involved with planning mine

Hmmm...that's kinda what I want to do. Maybe I'll kindly tell my MOH that I would like to be involved. I am just a little afraid that she will be offended!

I planned my own. If you want a hand in it, go for it! The only rule in my book is there are no rules.

It's usually the MOH but it doesn't have to be....my MOH and BM's are taking care of it all and I couldn't be happier!!
I want it to be a surprise....and it's one less thing to plan!

Usually your MOH and bridesmaids.. My MOH lives in Canada so my best friend who might as well be my MOH is planning it. I'm definitely a control freak so she asks me certain things but did the majority of the planning

I'm involved in it and they were very adamant about me not being involved in the shower. I say talk to your girls.

Traditionally the MOH. But I agree, you can be as involved as you want!

im also a control freak lol
I picked the destination of mine and helped put together a guest list etc but the details I am leaving up to my MOHs
i agree there is no rule for this

I am a total control freak when it comes to these things. I have convinced my mother and bridesmaids to let me plan my shower lol but the bachelorette party I am not allowed to touch. They told me I have to have at least one surprise.

The MOH usually does. Don't know if I will become one of those involved brides. I would definitely love to know if I am going to like it before money is put down and stuff like that. Right now its still to early in the process that we have not thought about it.

My best friend planned mine. She took over for my MOH (my little sister) because she's the party girl.

usually the MOH or BMs plan it but you can definitely put your input in too! Its really up to you....my best friend got married last year and we surprised her...it was great, she had no clue and we went out to the city/dinner/ drinks etc....i also had another friend who planned the whole thing herself!! we actually ended up going to lucky chengs in the city (not sure if i spelled right) but we had a blast.....
definitely check with your BP.

I think that the MOH should take the iniatiave to contact all of your bridesmaid and friends who you would like invited....You should def have a say in what the festivities should include, if you don't want to be suprised. But I would let your MOH take care of collecting $ and organizing...one less thing on your plate

In my experience, the bride decides what to do for bachlorette party, or at least gives her ideas/opinions and 'rules' per say. haha Then the MOH and BMs take it from there and from the numerous bach parties I've been to in the past year all the BMs and any other attendants pay for themselves and chip in so the bride is free.
I don't expect to not have to pay for mine, but thats just my experience. I am telling my sister that I definitely want dancing, and then any combo of good food, wine tasting, karaoke and spa treatments are welcome! haha No strippers is my main rulem they just aren't for me, though I have had fun at things like hulkomania!
