I think we both are. It never used to be that way though. I was always the more affectionate. It wasn't because he didn't like to be, but he did not know how. He came from a family that does not openly show affection.

Allure you just have to take the lead until he feels comfortable. Also being around my family helps things as they are very affectionate.

Now, he is usually the first to grab my hand when we are walking down the street, or the first to spoon or cuddle in bed.

He has come a long way and I love it!!!

I def am and it is a HUGE PAIN> very hard for a demonstrative ITALIAN to deal with this. I am guessing it is due to upbringing but his mom is very open and affectionate.
Doesnt hold hands often...does it as soon as he buys/gets something he has been working towards....or when he is REALLY REALLY REALLY thrilled about something.
Thank goodness he didnt act this way while I was in labor!
