my parents are paying for 90% of it. i guess my fh parents felt they had to give something when they gave such a huge guest list. truce me it's not as big a amount. but i'm not going to go there, it will make me upset. it has had in the past.

We are paying for everything, but my future MIL and FIL gave us $6,000 but that was a drop in the bucket.. seriously
I thought wed do it cheaper than this, but after all the little things and alterations and gifts tips etc its adding up!

My parents are paying for it all....but we had, and really sticked to,a budget. This didn't bother me at all and I am so thankful for all that my parents have done for the wedding.

My parents paid for the church fees and the reception and I paid for the rest.

i was just wondering b/c all of our friends had their wedding paid most if not all by their parents....and we are struggling here trying to afford this shindig

Wow, I'm surprised so many people are footing the bill themselves. FH and I are paying it, though my parents did have money for a wedding for me. They offered it to me when I decided to go to graduate school in my early 30s, and I took it since no FH was in sight at the time.
