Whos removing your veil?

Whos removing your veil?

Your FH
Your Father

When will they lift it off your face?
In the beginning of the ceremony?
Right before you kiss your groom?

If I decide to wear a blusher my father will remove when he kisses me and hands me over to groom

My brother lifted it when he gave me away.
I didn't care either way but that is how our church told us to do it during the rehersal

My father lifted it when he gave me away. It was a very emotional moment for the 2 of us. But leaving it on during the whole ceremony is really nice too.

my mom walked me down the aisle and she lifted my veil and gave me a kiss, before handing me off to my DH

I think I will have my dad lift the veil, give me a kiss and give me away.

My parents lifted my veil to kiss me then put it back down when they 'passed me off' to DH. We lifted it a few times during the ceremony to drink the wine, etc. but eventually he lifted it to kiss me. I was afraid of getting claustrophobic (a la 16 candles ) but I was OK!

not wearing blusher...and will remove veil for reception.

I don't want a damn thing covering up my face on the day of my wedding!

A Kiss from my father will replace the removal of the blusher veil!

Re: Whos removing your veil?

I'm going to leave it on through the ceremony and have my fiancee lift it when he kisses me...I kinda like the idea and think its sweet - he loves it!

Re: Whos removing your veil?

My Brother, who I finally met about 6 years ago, will be giving me away since my father (who I have not seen since I was 7) is too ill to come to the states. I would like my veil removed in the beginning of the ceremony. I know I am going to cry so I need my face easily accessible, LOL

I was thinking about having Anthony remove it before our kiss, but I think I am going to be crying the whole time. Especially if its up. I dont know!!!!!!!

Re: Whos removing your veil?

wow..this is something else I haven't even thought of yet! I seriously have no clue. I think I may want my parents to do it after they walk me down the aisle and hand me off to FH, but I guess I'll have to think about it a little more. I really hate to have things over my eyes so I think the shortest amount of time it is on, the better.

my dad is doing it, its a sign that he is giving me away. And that FH has his blessing.
