Who's using airbrush makeup?

Who's using airbrush makeup?

and if you are, what's the difference vs. regular? I have another trial next week w Oksana and I think i read she doesn't use airbrush... Mia does but her gun was broken during my trial so i'm curious what the real difference is - when she described it it seemed like something i would like. i don't wear a lot of makeup and i don't want to look caked on on my wedding day.

thanks!

with airbrush they use this spraying gun to apply your foundation, the rest of your make up such as eyes is done by hand though. The foundation usually goes on a little more flawless and lasts longer...Also oksana doesnt do airbrush

sorry, I meant I know Oksana doesn't do airbrush. but is airbrush supposed to feel lighter on your face - like not as heavy as regular makeup?

that's what i thought. i think i'd prefer that since i hate the way liquid foundation feels on me normally. I wish I had been able to do it with Mia. Oh well.

Oksana does not do airbrush. I did have a previous trial where they used airbrush and I loved it but IMO my skin looked just as flawless with oksana's traditional make-up trial.

thanks, that's good to know! I liked Mia a lot too but I guess in the end it'll come down to whichever look i like better and price - Mia is more $$$ but she has no minimum like Oksana so it works out about the same if not a little less for me.

If i have to force my mom to get her makeup done to meet a minimum, i will, but then i'm paying for it!

oksana dosent do the airbrush and her makeup is silicone based. She had mentioned that she dosent like airbrush because sh cant touch up as nice as she can by hand. I loved the trial with oksana. I had airbrush done 2 weeksago for a wedding and i like the hand applied better then the spray gun.

oh I totally conned my mom into getting her make-up done. She said I'm very convincing and should be a lawyer. Anyway, I read your previous concern about the make-up feeling heavy. The make up oksana used on me did not feel heavy at all. In fact (I am going to admit a nasty secret) I slept on it to see how long it would last and even in the morning it felt fine. I honestly didn't notice the difference between the airbrush and traditional make-up

best way to find out is simply trying both yourself...its hard to really say whats better, it just depends whats better for that one person...i mean even with regular make up alone it can differ, depends on what type of make up the artist uses and how much they apply and what they do with it...even with airbrush depends on what type of foundation they use for the airbrush, but ask before they do it what type of foundation they use, whether its water based or silicone based. I would stay away from silicone based airbrush bc then it can become oily.

i had no idea there was silicone based airbrush. i def wouldn't want that if it'll make me shiny.

it can streak thats the problem with it...everyones skin produces oil so putting oil on top of oil can get messy , this is usually used for modeling pics and things like that but for an all day thing where ppl see you face to face its not suggested...some make up artists use it though
