Who's wearing Red

lipstick for the wedding?

I used to wear it all the time..then stopped.

Went to Mac today and tried on Ladybug, Fh loved it. So I'm thinking of wearing it on the wedding day.

Anyone else going to wear red?

I totally wish I could! I love the look of red lipstick + black eyeliner/dramatic lashes! But my lips are too big to pull it off :(

I'm sure you can! Just don't do any crazy colors on your eyes - keep it to neutral colors, maybe even more of eyeliner + dramatic eyelashes, vs. doing different colors! Have you done your make-up trial yet?

I have, actually I'm at the point where I am probably going to do my own makeup. I'm tired of paying for trials.

I might try it out this week just to see how it goes

I don't blame ya - they add up. If you're doing red lipstick, have them do a dramatic eye maybe with eyeliner + fake lashes and you should be good to go. The redlipstick will stand out on its own :)

I've done the red thing once or twice, back in my wild partying days

But, personally, I wouldn't ever do it on my wedding day. IMO, red lips are so bold and in your face, that I would be concerned it would take away from the dress, the hair, and everything else about you on your wedding day.

Whenever I see pics of people with red lipstick thats the first thing that jumps out at me and it would really bother me if I looked back at my wedding album and all I saw were bright red lips jumping out at me...but, this is just me.

If you love it and think it will look good, go for it!

I am 90% sure I am... I have been on a red lip craze for the past few months and FH said he really likes it. Now I just need to find something that has staying power, I don't want to have to keep applying 100 times all night!

I never wear lipstick. Especially red. I have small lips so it just draws attention where I don't want it. Besides, it comes off too quickly and then to have bare lips and minimal eyes.....I'd rather just play up my eyes.
