yes my friend... THAT was the joke!

I voted for the Mets, because in a contest between the Mets and any other team besides my Yankles, I will ALWAYS route for the Mets.

How many Mets fans do you know who would say likewise?

Between Yanks and Braves... well.. I rooted the Yanks in 96 because it had been almost 20 years since they had won. It was time.

In 1999, I was neutral.. like Switzerland.

Rachel -- Most likely NO other Mets fans would say that .. esp. OctGroom!! LOL

Though you are a better person that I am -- I ALWAYS root AGAINST the Mets! The only time I kinda sorta root FOR them is if they are playing Atlanta, since I truly dislike the Braves. Otherwise, I'm not one of those 'I support NY teams' types of girls .. I'm totally a YANKEE fan thru and thru

ha ha ha ha ha!!!
LET'S GO METS!!!!!!!!!!

i dont care much for baseball, but fh is a big mets fan and wouldnt want me to vote any other way.

You're being waaaay too tough on me! hehe

I rooted for the Yankees in 96... then they started getting greedy. I could not approve of being greedy as a upright gentleman.

that's me.. an upright gentleman.

I'll expect your heart-felt apology shortly.
Thank you in advance.

I'm a diehard Yankee fan(my cousin played for them). I would never root for the Mets. I rooted for Boston in 1986. I rather stop watching baseball then root for the Mets.

---

BOSTON????????!!

How does that make sense?!

I would rather have hot coals stuck under my fingernails than route for Boston!

Anyway, Who's your cousin?

Neither........ LETS GO YANKEES!!!!!!

You, and upright gentleman? Who knew??
(J/K..)

OK, I will apologize for the fact that ONE TIME you rightfully rooted for the Yankees .. Wow!
And you'll be happy to know that ONE TIME I rooted for the Mets .. but that was waaaay back in '86 when they were playing the RedSox in the WS. It was a horrible series to have to pick a team to root for, tho
